Hello, my name is Madeleine, and I'm the owner of The Geeky Octopus. I'm a 17 year old amigurumi artist. I have known how to crochet for ten years, but only began making amigurumi in the last three. It began as a way to fund a school trip that never happened, but turned into something so much more, and I created The Geeky Octopus as a way to share my love of amigurumi with others.

These spiders are the most complex pattern I've written. Writing the pattern alone took nearly a week.

These fruit whales are some of my favorite creations. There is a lemon, a lime, a watermelon, a blueberry, a papaya, and an apple.

The ghost is my latest pattern. I've been writing patterns for a few months now.

This sea serpent was made in over 15 parts, then sewed together. Pieces like this have over an hour of sewing involved. (Not my pattern)

This turtle was made out of 44 pieces of various shapes, all sewed together to make a recognizable animal. African flower animals take hours to sew together. (Not my pattern)
